Breakfast recipe with oatmeal cream and fruits

Bruno Oteiza offers us a full breakfast with oatmeal or porridge cream, fruits and coffee with milk.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and to be complete and balanced, it must include dairy, fruit and cereals, as in this case.

Oatmeal or porridge cream is a very common breakfast in northern Europe, especially in Scotland. This dish is prepared by cooking oats in milk or water. There are porridge variants made with other cereals, such as rice, corn, barley or wheat. Porridge is a healthy option for breakfast and a good source of energy.

Ingredients (2 people):

  • 1 slice of melon
  • 1 piece of pineapple
  • 1 piece of papaya
  • 2 oranges
  • 10-12 strawberries
  • 100 g whole oat flakes
  • 3/4 l of milk
  • 2 teaspoons ground coffee
  • 2-4 tablespoons of sugar
  • cinnamon powder

To make the oatmeal cream, heat 1/2 liter of milk with 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Add the oat flakes and boil for about 3-5 minutes. Reservation.

To prepare the fruits, peel and cut the papaya, pineapple and melon into pieces to your liking and put them on a plate. Add a couple of chopped strawberries and orange slices.

  • 2 guavas
  • 1 piece of pineapple

Season the fillets and fry them in a pan with a jet of oil. Fry the eggs in a pan with a jet of oil. Season

Serve the potatoes at the base of the dish. Put the steak and the eggs on top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Accompany with a Rancho Natura prickly pear juice and coffee.
