BROTH OF NOPALES WITH SHRIMP

The advantages of including nopal in our diet are many, because our body uses this plant to the fullest and absorbs all its nutrients.
Therefore, we present a delicious recipe that you can easily do:

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of tomato
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 tablespoon of corn oil
  • 250 grams of cooked nopales cut in julienne (in strips)
  • 200 grams of cooked peas
  • 1 branch of epazote
  • Salt or chicken consommé
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 500 grams of cooked and peeled shrimppreparation:Grind the tomatoes with the garlic and onion
    Strain the mixture and let it fry in hot oil for a few minutes.
    Add the nopales, the peas, the epazote branch and season as you like.
    Leave on the stove for 15 minutes and add the beaten eggs, stirring instantly.
    In the end, add the shrimp and serve hot!
