IDEAL PLATE FOR THESE COUNTRY HOLIDAYS

The most Mexican month of all arrived and we love it because it is when we can take advantage of our national ingredients, as is the nopal. That is why this time we will give you a recipe that can make it very easy and fast.

Salad of nopal and avocado

Ingredients:
• 5 medium nopales cut into thin rectangles (to taste)
• 2 avocados
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
•    1 onion
• 2 diced tomatoes
• ½ cup of crumbled fresh cheese
• 1 lemon (juice)
• 1 finely chopped serrano chile
•    Salt
• Dehydrated oregano
Method of preparation:
1. Cook in water all the nopales cut into rectangles, along with half an onion, a pinch of oregano, another of salt and a spoonful of olive oil.
2. After 15 minutes, remove and drain.
3. Chop the rest of the onion, cilantro and chili.
4. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
5. Add cheese, olive oil and season with a little oregano and salt to taste.
6. Slice avocado into strips and add just before serving.

We suggest you to accompany this recipe as a garnish or with some delicious toast.
