What fruits to eat in October?

Nowadays, we can buy almost any food at any time of the year, but it turns out that each season makes different fruits come naturally, and there is nothing better than being able to consume fresh produce.

Seasonal foods provide the maximum of their benefits at an optimal time for consumption. That is, if we consume seasonal fruits we benefit from its taste, nutrients, texture, appearance and naturalness, since we are taking food in its natural cycle.

Citrus fruits

Autumn is a very good time to consume citrus, such as mandarins, oranges, lemons.

These seasonal fruits provide us with lots of nutrients and are rich in vitamins A and C, help control the digestive and immune system, promote dissolution of food and relieve acidity, as well as lighten and hydrate the skin.

Apple

The natural season of the apple goes from August to January, so the month of October is one of the best to consume it, since it is at its exact point.

Its multiple vitamins and minerals are ideal to promote intestinal transit and the immune system, in addition to its diuretic properties and its ability to control cholesterol.

Grape

They prevent the formation of clots in the blood, reduce high blood pressure, as well as the formation of cataracts, protecting the vision and helping to prevent inflammation.
The grape has a beneficial diuretic effect, as well as the elimination of uric acid and its salts, arterial hypertension or other diseases associated with fluid retention.
