CARROT CREAM

The carrot is excellent for improving vision, to help us have a tanned skin, and also has other health benefits, for example: It is ideal for preparing homemade masks for skin blemishes, excellent for combating premature aging, between other things.

The carrot is a versatile food, we can consume it cooked, raw, liquefied, in salads with other vegetables, steamed or simply fresh in small pieces, however you prefer you can receive the same amount of benefits.

We leave you a light cream recipe, ideal for cold days and very easy to make.

Ingredients

·6 carrots
·4 leeks
·1 onion
·Olive oil for frying
·Salt
3Pepper

Instructions

·Peel the carrots and cut them into not very large pieces
·We clean the leeks and cut them too
·Chop the onion
·Fry with olive oil in a pot or casserole
·Add salt to taste and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
·Add water to cover and a pinch of salt.
·We raise the heat until it boils and, once it boils it is put on medium heat.
·We separate the pot from the fire, leave it in the pot ⅓ of the broth and keep the rest
·Crush the vegetables until a cream is left, add broth if necessary
·We try, and add salt if necessary and a pinch of pepper
